A bassinet is included for babies who are 6 months or less, and the UPF 50+ canopy can be enlarged from two panels to three by the simple unzip. The 3D Lite
This stroller is an excellent choice for parents looking for a compact, lightweight, affordable travel stroller. Summer Infant's 3D Lite, weighing just more than 14 pounds, is their lightest stroller. It comes with a variety of features for the little rider, including the ability to recline in multiple positions as well as five-point safety harness. For parents the 3D Lite has plenty of storage space and useful features like a child cup holder and snack tray and a cup holder for the parent, zippered pocket, and cushioned handles for ease of use.
The Lite's light-weight design makes it easy to move and push. It scored highly in our Strollers Test Program, earning Very Good marks for Ease of use and maneuverability. It also scored highly in the Stroller Safety Category, which includes features to ensure that your child is safe and secure like locking brakes and changing the safety harness folding and unfolding, and attaching and removing an appropriate car seat.
One thing to note is that it takes a little balance to fold the Lite. To do this you must lift the lever in the middle of the stroller, then step onto a second lever using your foot, then press down on the handle with the other hand. This process takes around 4 seconds and is slower than other light strollers we've tried.
In addition, while the Lite is a fantastic stroller for travel, with a compact footprint and a convenient carry strap, it's not folded as compactly as other models we've tested. The Bugaboo Ant, Babyzen YOYO+ and Zoe Traveler all fold smaller, making them better suited for airplane overhead bins.
Finally, the Lite isn't convertible to double strollers and doesn't have a ride-along board for older children.
